6. Having an evil master.

When I run into an idiot as a freelancer, I can turn and walk the other way.  When you run into an idiot in the corporate and government world, then all you can do is turn around and say, “Sorry boss”.

Bet you didn’t know that the English word boss comes from the Dutch word baas.  Historically, the word baas means master.  Another meaning of the word is cow…or bovine.

So if your boss is really your bovine master, then what does that make you?  Nothing but a turd in the herd.
