Schoenstatt is about eight miles from the city of Koblenz in Germany, and means “a beautiful place”. Inhabited by a group of Augustinian nuns in the 12th century, this branch of the Catcholic church has grown to include about 200 churches worldwide — all of which are built to resemble the original.
