Brazil is Pulling Out All the Stops for the World Cup; Except They are Forgetting the Poor

Brazil is preparing to host the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympics. As the government throws around the dollars buying bangles to impress visitors from across the globe, the country’s poor are being forgotten. Many of them, in fact, are being further marginalized and moved to the outer reaches of the country.
