I’ve always told people to constantly keep your camera with you. While having your camera isn’t a guarantee that you will always get good photos and a great story, NOT having it with you will mean it’s a 100% chance of not getting it.
Saturday I was walking up Federica LaCroze on my way to find something to eat. I have a friend that owns the RapiPago on LaCroze and I stopped to talk with him a moment. He doesn’t speak English and I don’t speak Spanish, so our conversation wasn’t detailed and long.
I was able to figure out though that he was getting ready to have a beach style barbeque right there on the sidewalk, so I stuck around for the food and friendship.
While I was shooting, I got an education on cookouts, Argentine style.
